Why the emsella chair?

The Emsella Chair is a non-invasive medical device designed to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and treat conditions such as urinary incontinence, pelvic floor weakness, and sexual dysfunction. It uses advanced electromagnetic technology to stimulate deep muscle contractions that cannot be achieved through voluntary exercise alone.  

How the Emsella Chair Works  

1. High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) Technology  

- The chair emits focused electromagnetic energy that penetrates the pelvic floor region.  

- This energy stimulates supramaximal contractions (very strong, involuntary contractions) of the pelvic floor muscles.  

- One session can deliver the equivalent of over 11,200 Kegel exercises in 28 minutes.

Urinary incontinence is denied as the involuntary leakage of urine. There are three different types of urinary incontinence: Stress incontinence: is when there is exerted pressure on the bladder causing leakage. This can be caused by coughing, laughing, sneezing, or exercise. Urge: is sudden, intense urge to urinate frequently. Mixed incontinence: is a combination of both stress and urge incontinence.

When the treatment commences you will feel slight tingling and vibrations in your pelvic floor muscles that will turn into full contractions. This is comfortable and well tolerated. Treatment takes 28 minutes. 

IS THERE DOWNTIME POST THE TREATMENT? 

There is absolutely no downtime, you can get back to any daily activity immediately post your treatment. 

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS? This may vary depending on your age, physical condition, and many other aspects. In general, patients begin to feel tangible results after the first treatment. Positive results typically continue to improve over the next few weeks.
