Saskia, graduated from Edith Cowan University in 2009 and she has completed various post graduate degrees along the way.

Saskia has over 12 years experience in academic teaching of undergraduate nursing students at tertiary level and also keeps her skills current while working at one of Perth’s leading teaching Hospital. During her teaching career in academia, Saskia was was part of the ANMAC accreditation to ensure the protection of health and safety of the Australian community. In her role she established high quality educational standards, that facilitated healthcare educational programs at tertiary level.

Saskia’ has an extensive knowledge in background reconstructive plastics, trauma plastics, ENT, and major trauma. Saskia, believes that it‘s vital to keep up-to-date with current practice while learning and improving new skills that she can implement into her practice.

Her priority is to make sure that her patients needs are heard and understood whilst providing the necessary education and information to achieve their desired aesthetics.

Saskia offers where she takes a holistic approach in providing her clients a comprehensive assessment and treatment plan tailored to their individual needs.

How It All Began

Remi Aesthetics, founded by nurse and former lecturer Saskia Maes, emerged from her transformative personal journey after a life-altering diagnosis led to a rapid 40kg weight loss. This change brought emotional challenges, including loss of identity and confidence, prompting her to reclaim her sense of self during a year of recovery.
